These terms apply when you use poppyhouseartcafe.com or book a session, party or event with Poppy House Art Cafe LLC ("Poppy House," "we" or "us"). By booking, you agree to them.
Bookings
A booking is for the session, party or event, and the number of people, shown on your confirmation. Seats are held for a short time while you pay, and your booking is confirmed once payment goes through. Please arrive on time: sessions end at their scheduled time.
Kids are welcome with a grown-up. A parent or guardian is responsible for the kids they bring.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Payments are taken by Square on its own checkout page. Sales tax is added where it applies.
Promo codes have the limits shown when they are offered, can't be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or ended at any time. We may cancel bookings that misuse a code.
Changes and cancellations
Bookings aren't refundable, but you can move yours to another day or time. Email charisma@poppyhouseartcafe.com to make a change. If we have to cancel a session or event, we'll offer you another time or a refund.
Parties
A party is held once its deposit is paid. The deposit isn't refundable. The rest of the price is due 7 days before the party, and the party may be cancelled if it isn't paid by then.
The waiver
Everyone taking part agrees to our waiver and release of liability, and a parent or guardian agrees for kids. When you book for a group, you agree to share the waiver with your group. You can read it on our Waiver page.
In the studio
Our crafts use paint, glue, glitter and small beads and rhinestones, which can stain clothes and aren't safe for small children who might swallow them. Please follow staff directions and our house rules. We may ask anyone who is unsafe or disruptive to leave, without a refund.
We're closed from Friday at 2:30pm through Saturday.
Photos
We sometimes take photos in the studio to share on our website and social media. If you'd rather not be in them, tell a staff member and we'll leave you out.
The website
The words, photos and designs on this website belong to Poppy House or are used with permission. Please don't copy them for your own business. We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Poppy House isn't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its date, is the one that applies.
